How do I compare DSCR lenders without getting spammed?
You pick one lender and consent once. Your information is shared only with that single chosen lender and is never resold to multiple lenders — the usual source of the spam-call barrage on loan marketplaces.
How is DSCR calculated for a short-term rental?
DSCR is the property's projected annual net rental income divided by its annualized debt service. Cohost projects the STR income from comparable-property data, so the ratio reflects real Airbnb/VRBO cash flow rather than a long-term lease estimate. Every number links to how it's calculated.
Is Cohost the lender?
No. Cohost is the short-term-rental data platform. Panel lenders are independent and NMLS-licensed; you choose one and they write the loan. Cohost is not a lender or a mortgage broker.
What does the per-property compliance check show?
For any address in a covered market, Silver shows the STR permit status, the exact transient-occupancy / lodging tax owed, and the local rules that apply — each with a source you can verify. It is the same compliance data cohost holds on the government side, opened up for hosts and buyers.
